Reasons and arguments to preserve some analogue practices in the University digital age
Englischsprachiger Vortrag von Bianca Thoilliez Ruano

Our ways of thinking and writing are mediated and traversed by the technological means that we use. The teaching and study activities that take place in the university context have not been, nor are they now, outside this defining mediation of technologies. However, is there a point where some technologies may be defining our university practices in such a way as to change them to the point of making them unreco- gnizable? On this occasion I will propose a series of reasons and arguments, based on a careful reading of empirical evidence produced in the field of educational sciences, why it may be convenient to preserve some analogue practices in the midst of the university digital era in that we live (if we want the University to continue fulfilling and expanding the purposes that give its meaning and significance).
