First fully autonomous drone flight demonstration in the port city of Kobe, Japan

During his visit of TH Köln's partner university KIC in Japan, Prof. Bartz-Beielstein was invited to the first fully autonomous drone flight demonstration in the port city of Kobe. It was a tremendously amazing day!

Swift Xi inc.  flew the first fully autonomous flight demonstration in the port city of Kobe, Japan on July 21, 2018. Swift Xi inc. is a joint venture company of Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC) in Japan and Swift Engineering in US. 
Kobe Institute of Computing is TH Köln's partner university.

In attendance during the event was Governor of the Hyogo prefecture, Toshizo Ido, and Mayor of Kobe City, Kizo Hisamoto as well as other government officials and media. Prof. Bartz-Beielstein, who was invited by Prof. Dr. Sandor Markon and Kenji Fukuoka to the demonstration took the following videos.
