Fitsum Bekele Tilahun successfully defended his doctorate on June 1st, 2022. He completed his doctorate cooperatively under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ramchandra Bhandari (Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics) of TH Köln and Mengesha Mamo Wogari (PhD) from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. The topic of the thesis was "Machine Learning Interfaces for Optimal Design and Control of Solar Thermal Systems in Process Industry".
