The testimonials written by international students of our faculty (Incomings) and students of TH Köln that have been abroad (Outgoings) offer an interesting insight into the experiences during their stays abroad and can be a helpful source for other students while preparing and planning their exchange semester or internship abroad.

Luca and Giovanni from the University of Padua

In the winter semester 2020/2021, Luca and Giovanni from the University of Padua worked on projects in the Laboratory of Manufacturing Technology as part of their master's theses. They were supervised by Prof. Dr. Hartl and Prof. Dr. Pusch as well as by Mr. Petrovic. In their theses, they dealt with laser welding processes and laser welding quality.

Harisa and Mirza from Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the summer semester 2020, Harisa and Mirza from Bosnia and Herzegovina visited us at our faculty. They spent an Erasmus semester with us and worked on practical projects in the laboratory. Prof. Dr. Hasan Smajic has been supervising the Erasmus exchange project with 4 universities in Bosnia Herzegovina since the beginning of 2020.

Manuel from Mexico

Starting in October 2019, Manuel participated in our double degree program with the private university Tec de Monterrey (Mexico) in the Automotive Engineering degree program. He has completed his semester abroad and finished his internship in November 2019, which is part of the double degree program.

Rand and Bilal from Jordan

Rand and Bilal from the German-Jordanian University in Amman (GJU) studied Logistics at our faculty for one semester in summer 2019. The exchange program with the GJU also includes an internship semester, which both of them have completed at companies in Germany during the winter semester 2019/2020.

Luis and Diego from Mexico (IPN) and Ravindra from India

The photo shows two of our international students from IPN in Mexico, Luis and Diego, who have completed an exchange semester in the Bachelor's degree program Production and Logistics at our faculty during the winter semester of 2018/2019. Ravindra from India and David from Nepal ("Joint Master's Degree in Sustainable Automotive Engineering") wrote their Master's thesis with Prof. Dr. Rainer Haas during the same time frame.

Jintao and Yang from China

Jintao and Yang from China wrote their final thesis with Prof. Dr. Frank Herrmann as their mentor in 2017/2018. Jintao was enrolled as a regular student in the Master's degree program Automotive Engineering and Yang in the double degree Bachelor's program in Automotive Engineering.

Camila from Mexico

Camila from Mexico participated in the double degree program in 2017/2018. She accomplished the program and has been offered a job in Germany.
