Looking for an exchange semester or a double degree program? Then our exchange or international Double Degree program in Automotive Engineering (B.Eng.) in cooperation with the private university Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico might be the right option for you.

Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico

Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private university based in Monterrey, Mexico. With approximately 100 000 enrolled students, known for its strong reputation amongst North-American employers, Tecnológico de Monterrey has become one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America.

The university will assist international students with their course selection, Spanish language and housing and also offers a variety of social and cultural events.

International Double Degree Program

Since 2016 the Tecnológico de Monterrey has been offering double degree programs at bachelor level in cooperation with the German University Consortium for International Cooperations (DHIK).

As one out of 26 member universities of the DHIK, TH Köln is offering an exchange and international double degree program in Automotive Engineering (B.Eng.) in cooperation with Tec de Monterrey.

Exchange semester or double degree?

The double degree program starts with one semester of subject-related courses at the Tecnológico de Monterrey taught in English and is followed by a practical phase at a local company, usually the branch of a German enterprise.

If you choose to go abroad for just one semester, recognition of your study results accomplished abroad is possible upon your return to Germany. Therefore, a so-called Learning Agreement, including all the educational components to be carried out by the student shall be signed before the mobility.
