Looking for an exchange semester or a double degree program? Then our exchange or international Double Degree programs in Automotive Engineering (B.Eng.) in cooperation with the Chinese-German University of Applied Science (CDHAW) at the Tongji University in Shanghai or the private university Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico might be for you.

Tongji-University has been established in 1907 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious state-funded universities of the People’s Republic of China.

With an estimated population of about 25 million people and an area of 6,340 km2, Shanghai is not only regarded one of the largest cities in the world, but is also one of the most important industrial centres of China.

Exchange semester or double degree?

The Double Degree Programme starts off with one semester of subject-related courses at the CDHAW taught in English and is followed by a practical phase and a bachelor thesis supervised by a local company, usually the branch of a German business.

If you choose to go abroad for just one semester, the recognition of your study results accomplished abroad is possible upon your return to Germany. Therefore, a so-called Learning Agreement including all the educational components to be carried out by the student needs to be signed before the mobility.
