Admission Requirements

University degree

A  university degree (Bachelor's degree or higher) in one of the following fields:

- Computer science
- Economics
- Social sciences
- Law
- Design
- Psychology
- Pedagogy/education

For all other degrees, the examination board is to assess the suitablility of the individual programs.

Applicants with degrees obtained outside of Germany please consider the information on admission requirements and German language skills.

Professional experience
After graduation from a first-cycle program and prior to enrolling in the Master's program in Web Science, applicants are required to have gained qualified professional experience in a suitable field (min. 1 year). A commission appointed by the Web Science departmental committee is to decide on the qualification and on the suitablility of the professional employment.

This program is offered in cooperation with the Verbundinstitut NRW in Hagen.
