CaMS (November 2–16, 2026) and PSSO (November 2–9, 2026) unavailable
From November 2 until November 16, 2026, the campus management system (CaMS) and the Online Examination and Student Services (PSSO) will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance and a system update. PSSO will be available again before the 16th.
The Offices of Student and Examination Services will not have access to the systems during the downtime, either.
Please complete all important tasks in CaMS and PSSO before November 2, 2026.
During the downtime, the following services cannot be offered:
CaMS: campus management system
CaMS will be unavailable from November 2 to 16, 2026. All services are affected, including:
- Certificates of enrollment and BAföG certificates
- Change of address or contact information
- Information on re-registration status
- Applications and requests, including leave of absence or disenrollment
- Confirmations and certificates
For degree programs whose examinations are already managed in CaMS, examination-related functions will also be unavailable, including:
- Registering for exams and cancelling exam registrations
- Viewing exam results
- Overview of registered exams
- Access to transcripts of records and exam status
PSSO: Online Student and Examination Services
PSSO will be unavailable from November 2 to 9, 2026. All services are affected, including:
- Registering for and withdrawing from exams
- Transcripts of records
- Generating TAN lists
- Viewing the status of exam registrations
For some degree programs, the examination management is already handled in CaMS. Students in these programs are generally only affected by the PSSO downtime if they manage examinations outside their own program in PSSO.
Implementation of the examination management feature into CaMS
Apart from the scheduled maintenance, the downtime will be used to make the examination management feature in CaMS available to additional degree programs.
Once the system update is completed, the new feature will be activated for the second of five program clusters. Most students will not be affected: Those who are already using the examination management feature in CaMS will not see any changes. Most other students will continue to use PSSO for exam registrations, viewing grades, etc.
Those students whose program's examination management will be handled in CaMS as of November 17, 2026 will be contacted separately with information regarding all relevant details about the changes.
