CaMS (November 2–16, 2026) and PSSO (November 2–8, 2026) unavailable
From November 2 until November 16, 2026, the campus management system (CaMS) and the Online Examination and Student Services (PSSO) will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance and a system update. PSSO will be available again on November 9.
During the downtime, the following services cannot be offered:
Student and Examination Services
The Offices of Student and Examination Services will not have access to the systems during the downtime. This will mean that the usual requests cannot be processed, including:
- Entering exam results
- Issuing transcripts of records
- Issuing replacement TAN lists
PSSO: Online Student and Examination Services
PSSO will not be available from November 2 to 8, 2026. All services are affected, including:
- Registering for and withdrawing from examinations
- Transcripts of records
- Generating TAN lists
- Viewing the status of exam registrations
For some degree programs, the examination management is already handled in CaMS. Students in these programs are generally only affected by the PSSO downtime if they manage examinations outside their own program in PSSO.
CaMS: campus management system
CaMS will not be available during the downtime either. All services are affected, including:
- Certificates of enrollment and BAföG certificates
- Changes to address and contact information
- Information on re-registration status
- Applications and requests, including leave of absence or disenrollment
- Access to confirmations and certificates
For degree programs whose examination management is already handled in CaMS, examination-related functions will also be unavailable, including:
- Registration for and withdrawal from examinations
- Viewing exam results
- Overview of registered examinations
- Access to transcripts of records and examination status
Apart from the scheduled maintenance, the downtime will be used to implement the second part of the new examination management into CaMS.
Once the downtime is completed, the new feature will be available for the second of five program clusters. Most students will not be affected: Those who are already using the examination management feature in CaMS will not see any changes. Most other students will continue to use PSSO for exam registrations, viewing grades, etc.
Those students whose program's examination management will be handled in CaMS as of November 17, 2026 will be contacted separately with information regarding all relevant details about the changes.
The next scheduled maintenance is planned for April 2027.
