Research Information System and Research Portal of TH Köln

The Research Information System of TH Köln compiles information about research activities at TH Köln and makes it visible to the public via the research portal.

In the password-protected area, scientists have the opportunity to view and edit their own research activities and expand them to include further activities (e.g. expert review activities). Publications continue to be maintained via the established Digital University Bibliography.

The research portal publishes selected research activities on its own website.

Research Information System

The Research Information System at TH Köln compiles information about the research activities of scientists at TH Köln and allows editing in a protected, internal university area. The system records information about research activities, but does not record research results or research data.

Selected content is presented to the public via the research portal.

Forschungsportal (Image: Forschungsportal)

Research Portal

The Research Portal of the TH Köln serves to publicise research activities at TH Köln. It is automatically updated daily via an interface from the research information system. Content cannot be edited in the research portal; this is done in the Research Information System (projects, expert activities) or in the Digital University Bibliography of the TH Köln.

The research portal is publicly accessible without access restrictions.

Digital University Bibliography

The Digital University Bibliography of TH Köln continues to serve as the central portal for maintaining publication data. The Research Information System receives this data via an automatic, daily interface and transfers it to the Research Portal.
