  • International Talent Service Desk (ITSD, 2026-2028)
    The International Talent Service Desk (ITSD) is a regional transformation project establishing a digital and personal one-stop service for companies and international professionals in the Cologne/Bonn region. Funded under the EFRE/JTF Programme NRW (Regio.NRW – Transformation), the project is centrally coordinated by CologneBusiness (KölnBusiness) and implemented in cooperation with more than 20 regional partners from business, public administration, academia, and labour market institutions. The scientific design, evaluation, and continuous development of the ITSD are carried out at TH Köln, focusing on digital work, AI-supported services, and international talent integration.
  • HR-Radar SME 2025
    Preparation of a study to analyze trends in human resources management in SMEs (50–500 employees). Human resources management in SMEs has been little researched to date and is often less professional than in large companies. The study aims to provide insights into the maturity of HR work and derive specific recommendations for action for SMEs.     Research project funded by the Stifterverband and the Daimler Fund "Smart Qualified". The project "Change 4.0structure-Dialogue-oriented Prototyping for Smart Further Qualification" addresses the challenges of structural change (Change) and will offer an innovative structuring aid (structure) for the digital challenges (4.0) for employees in the region through demand-oriented offer formats. This goal is to be achieved by identifying needs and forms of provision in a reciprocal dialogue-oriented development relationship with selected target groups and developing and testing prototypes in the form of learning nuggets for later learning paths.
