Additional information
The module will be offered as an on-site course with online components. It consists of on-site course meetings and e-learning units on ILIAS. The on-site and e-learning units are dovetailed in terms of content and methodology and are supplemented by tasks for self-study as well as additional self-learning components.

Intensive course week:
- Mon - Fri, 10:00 am - 01:15 pm (4 course units per day, 20 course units in total)
Module:
- On-site sessions: Mon, 01:00 - 04:15 pm, Campus Gummersbach (4 course units per week, 52 course units in total)
- E-learning sessions: will be taking place every two weeks on ILIAS (8 course units in total)

In class a course book will be used that all participants are expected to acquire.

Exam Components
Written exam, cultural studies project with presentation, portfolio task, regular and active participation in the course meetings as well as completion of the e-learning units
Written Exam Date
The exam usually takes place in the last week of the course. Details will be provided at the start of the course.
Requirements for participation
- You are a student at TH Köln, Faculty 10 (Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Science).
- You are prepared to actively engage in all class activities.
- You have no previous knowledge of German.
- You have the necessary technical equipment to participate in the E-Learning units: PC/laptop with camera and microphone, stable internet connection, valid campusID.
This module is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
