In our German language modules you will systematically develop your knowledge of German by training all four language skills (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing).

Modules B2+/C1 German as a Foreign Language
In the B2+/ C1 modules DaF, the focus lies on specific competencies, (scientific) areas such as technology, university and profession or on projects.
In order to participate in these modules you need to have German language skills on level B2 - proven by the DSH, the TestDaF, another language certificate or a corresponding result in the placement test.

Modules and Workshops for KOSPIE Scholars
Several modules and workshops in German as a foreign language will be offered for students receiving a scholarship from the DAAD program "Combined Study and Internship for Engineers from Developing Countries (KOSPIE)". These modules will be organized in cooperation with the Department of International Affairs of TH Köln.
Places left vacant can be assigned to other international students of TH Köln.

Workshops
This program is primarily aimed at international degree-seeking students from German and English-speaking STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), but it is also open to international students from other disciplines.
The workshops can be credited for the “Ready, Study, Go” certificate program.
These workshops are offered in cooperation with the Department of International Affairs within the program „FIT“ - Förderung internationaler Talente zur Integration in Studium und Arbeitsmarkt. The program is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
