We are looking for a Student Assistant at Gummersbach Campus!
For the further development of our Team International Degree-Seeking Students, we are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) for 7 hours a week from Nov 1, 2025 (unlimited contract). Remuneration will be according to TV-L 3.
General conditions
- Start Nov 1, 2025.
- Weekly working hours: 7 hours per week
- Work location: Campus Gummersbach as well as from the home office
- Remuneration: according to pay group 3 of the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L)
Your tasks
- Acceptance and forwarding of initial inquiries from international prospective students and TH students (by e-mail, telephone, zoom and presence)
- Support for projects of the department (e.g. research tasks, revision of texts and presentations)
- Support and accompaniment of events for international students of TH Köln (also in digital form)
- Administrative office tasks
Your profile
- You are enrolled in a degree program at TH Köln for at least two more semesters and are available during this time in addition to your studies
- You have a high degree of initiative, independence and a sense of responsibility and are flexible in terms of time
- Knowledge of the systems used at TH Köln and their structures (e.g. ILIAS, PSSO, locations etc)
- Ability to pass on information in a targeted manner in contact with the target group
- Very high intercultural competence and empathy for the concerns expressed
- Enjoy working with international students
- Good command of the German and English language
- Confident handling of MS Office applications and digital forms of communication
