Additional information

The course will focus on long-term water availability, hydrological modeling, and drought hazard assessment tools in data-scarce regions. It will consist of three online sessions with a duration of two hours per session of theoretical input plus 1h of a recorded practical session.

The instruction Language is English.

Time: 13:00 UTC + 1 | Sudan: 14:00 UTC + 2

The training is open to early-career professionals, as well as PhD and Master’s students from Sudan working in water and environmental fields.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to apply Google Earth Engine-based workflows for data processing, perform rainfall-runoff modeling using HBV-light, and to assess the drought hazard through the computation of drought

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate.
