Admission requirements

University degree
A university degree (Bachelor's degree or higher) in the field of design worth at least 180 ECTS credits.

If you have not graduated yet, you may still apply for admission if you expect to have graduated by the time the Master's program starts. 
International applicants and applicants with degrees obtained outside of Germany please consider the information on admission requirements and German language skills.

Special enrollment requirements

Aptitude test

Only applicants who pass the program-related aptitude test may enroll in this program.

Applications are submitted through TH Köln's campus management system (CaMS).

- international applicants without a first-cycle degree from a German university but with a first-cycle degree in a field related to the Master’s program from a university outside of Germany
