Average Cost of Living

Please note that it is essential for your stay at TH Köln that you have sufficient financial resources.

The cost of living depends heavily on your personal requirements and needs. We recommend that you plan for at least €992 per month (including health insurance), as this is currently the amount required to cover the living costs of German students. We have compiled a list of average prices for rent and ancillary costs as well as for food, telephone contracts and cultural events for you to download.
