Get your career started

The Bachelor's degree in International Business is an undergraduate degree and as such the basis for your future professional or academic career.

During your studies you were able to demonstrate that you have the professional, methodic and social skills needed for your future career. You can work indepently or in teams and you can evaluate and apply research results and methods. You know how to apply theory to practice and how to adjust to different target groups.

Postgraduate Education

Graduates who wish to gain more detailed knowledge in their field of interest should consider enrolling in a Master's program. Cologne University of Applied Sciences offers a variety of Master's programs in the field of business, economics and law. Of course you may also apply to other insitutions in and outside of Germany.

Whatever your plans are, make sure to gather relevant information on the various programs and their admission requirements. Keep in mind that:

  • a certain GPA (grade point average) may be required.
  • some tests (e.g. GMAT) are only offered periodically.
  • interviews and/or a letter of motivation should be prepared individually for each application – do not use the same letter or answers for all applications.
  • professional and/or international experience may be required.
  • some universities expect a certain amount of ECTS credits in areas such as economics or quantitative methods. Find out if you meet these requirements or if you need to take some additional courses prior to applying.
