Anti-Discrimination Office

The Anti-Discrimination Office at TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences is the central point of contact for victims of all forms of discrimination and also acts as a mediation and specialist center. Its aim is to provide support in cases of discrimination, to reduce discrimination, and to raise awareness.

Discrimination describes the unjustified unequal treatment of a person or group of people on the basis of one or more of the following characteristics or attributions:

Ethnic origin and nationality (e.g., racist, anti-Semitic, or ethnic attributions)
Disability/impairment and/or chronic/mental illness
Gender and gender identity
Sexual orientation
Age
Social background or social or socioeconomic status
Religion or worldview
Marital status or family care responsibilities
Appearance
