The BOTschafft Inclusion project developed a prototype AI-based chatbot to make complex nursing expertise accessible and easy to understand, and to facilitate access to the labor market for caregivers and relatives. Pflegeschätze is committed to making the everyday expertise of family caregivers visible and helps to systematically record and share their experiences and strategies. Caregiving families work together with researchers to highlight their “knowledge treasures,” which are made accessible on an interactive platform.
The aim is to enable young families who provide care to find relief and participate in everyday life as well as in vacation and leisure activities.
The transfer prize underscores the importance of exchange between science and practice and recognizes the project teams' commitment to application-oriented research. Further information on the award ceremony and the winning projects can be found in the official press release from TH Köln: Award ceremony for the TH Köln science prizes.
