Call for Papers: Science Communication on TikTok – Conference at TH Köln

How does science communicate on TikTok – between entertainment, education, and challenge?

This question will be addressed at the conference “Science Communication on TikTok: Research and Practice” from November 27 to 28, 2025, at TH Köln, Mülheim campus. Researchers and creators are invited to submit presentation proposals by May 31, 2025. The aim is to discuss the potential, risks, and new perspectives of the platform from a scientific and practical perspective. The open access conference proceedings will be published by Nomos Verlag. Abstracts for papers for the accompanying conference proceedings can be submitted until November 27, 2025, and full papers until January 31, 2026. Registration for participation will be open from June 30.
