Self-guided Language Learning with Speexx
You would like to improve your language skills in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish or learn one of these languages from the very beginning? The Language Learning Center offers free online self-study courses to all students and employees of TH Köln. Learn flexibly on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Speexx Campus by digital publishing offers online self-study courses for German as a Foreign Language, English, French, Italian and Spanish which help you to individually expand your language skills. The modules are free of charge for all students and employees of TH Köln.
Speexx provides general language modules and business language modules. The program is complemented by pronunciation and vocabulary training as well as current newspaper articles and video clips with corresponding language exercises.
The Speexx modules are designed according to the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In order to find the right course for your level, you can take the integrated placement test.

Language levels:
- A1 and A2 – Basic User
- B1.1 and B1.2 – Independent User
- B2.1 and B2.2 – Independent User
