Infosession about the German Health Insurance

You have recently received an admission letter to TH Köln? Congratulations! Before you can start your studies in Germany, you must register with a Statutory Health Insurance.

Therefore, you are welcome to take part in the free welcome sessions presented by Techniker Krankenkasse. The online lectures for international students deal with the topic "Well prepared for your studies - Health insurance in Germany". They will start on Jan 16, 2024 and will then take place every Wednesday from 2 - 3 pm.

Contents of the event:

  • Health insurance regulations for EU and non-EU students,
  • the German healthcare system,
  • the Statutory Health Insurance.

Duration:

60 minutes

Every Wednesday between 2-3 p.m.

Students are required by law to provide proof of sufficient health insurance coverage at the time of enrollment and to maintain this cover during their studies.
