PIONEER BIP "Innovative Design and Strategic Marketing in Services"
From October to December 2023, seven KISD students participated in the PIONEER Blended Intensive Program (BIP) “Innovative Design and Strategic Marketing in Services” together with students from Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and ISCTE University Institute Lisbon (Portugal). The program was coordinated by Université Gustave Eiffel (France).
The project focused on the design of so-called "edutainment" formats, which move between entertainment and education in their function. And was carried out in partnership with Orange, a global telecommunications company, and in particular with Orange Fab, the international accelerator network for start-ups, which provided professional insights on the subject matter.
Students first explored the field of edutainment in hybrid workshops and implemented the accumulated knowledge within the intensive project week from 20.-24. November in Paris using prototypes.
Feedback on the project from students was very positive: “This was an interesting project as we could work with people from other professional contexts, such as marketing and business. Also the internationality of the project generated really nice inputs.”
