LEI Connect Cologne is the Local Erasmus+ Initiative at TH Köln. It is a student university group whose volunteer members promote international exchange among students at TH Köln. All students at TH Köln, with or without experience abroad, are warmly invited to get involved in LEI Connect Cologne.

What are the responsibilities of LEI Connect Cologne?
The main goals of LEI Connect Cologne, the Local Erasmus+ Initiative at TH Köln, are to get students excited about studying abroad and to help incoming exchange students get involved in city and university life.
LEI Connect Cologne is defined by its work in the following areas:
- Inclusion of students and incoming exchange students
- Organization of diverse events
- Promotion of semesters abroad (Erasmus+ and worldwide)
- Exchange of experiences on international studies
- Sustainability of intercultural friendships
- Social media
- Collaboration on outgoing events organized by the Department of International Affairs (e.g., Farewell, Go Global)
- Taking over the online session “Preparation is half the battle”
Regular LEI Connect Cologne meetings
In addition to our larger events, we meet twice a month to spend some casual time together. Feel free to join us, we always welcome new faces. These recurring events have no agenda or thematic focus.

Would you like to get involved with us?
In order for us to make a difference and bring about change with LEI, we need volunteers. Regular meetings, planning and organizing events and activities are all part of working with LEI Connect Cologne. You can tailor your involvement to suit you and your interests.

How is LEI Connect Cologne financed?
LEI Connect Cologne is listed with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as a Local Erasmus+ Initiative at TH Köln. This means we receive annual funding from the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space. We use these funds to pay for catering and expenses for events for TH Köln students and incoming exchange students.
