Faculty of Spatial Development & Infrastructure Systems: Founding phase completed. New dean's office
The youngest faculty at TH Köln, the Faculty of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems, has completed its founding phase and elected a new dean's office.
The Faculty of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems has completed its founding phase. The youngest faculty at TH Köln has achieved a great deal since then. It has developed and introduced a new bachelor's degree program and integrated the Institute for Natural Resources Technology and Management (ITT) (formerly the Institute for Technology and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics) into the faculty.
In addition, the faculty has been able to further expand its transdisciplinary research approaches and has established a strong regional presence in the Rhineland through collaborations and the establishment of real-world laboratories and student projects.
Special thanks go to the founding dean, Prof. Dr. Lars Ribbe, and the founding vice dean, Prof. Dr. Udo Nehren, whose commitment has contributed significantly to the development and successful establishment of the new faculty.
