Preparatory German Language Courses: Apply now!

Application for the German Course B1/B2 and the German Course C1 with DSH in the winter semester 2025/26 is now possible! The application procedure takes place via uni-assist. Application Deadline: July 1, 2025.

Application Deadlines

German Course B1/B2: Jul 1, 2025
German Course C1 with DSH exam: Jul 1, 2025

Applications received after this date cannot be accepted. Please apply in time with all the relevant documents.

The intensive courses have been designed for international applicants with or without refugee background whose secondary school leaving certificate is recognized as a Higher Education Entrance Qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung – HZB) in Germany.

The courses combine classroom days in Cologne and digital classes via an online conferencing tool (Zoom).
