Preparatory German Courses for Studying in Germany

• German Course B1/B2: Blended learning format with on-site attendance, digital classes on Zoom, and use of the ILU (ILIAS) learning platform
• German Course C1 with DSH: Blended learning format with on-site attendance, digital classes on Zoom, and use of the ILU (ILIAS) learning platform

Language Modules during the Semester

• Language modules in German as a Foreign Language, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, and German Sign Language at various levels
• Blended learning format with on-site attendance at TH Köln locations or digital classes on Zoom, and use of the ILU (ILIAS) learning platform

Workshops for (International) Students

• Workshops in German as a Foreign Language and English on various topics, e.g., academic writing, application training

Continuing Education for Employees

• Various course and workshop formats, as well as tailor-made courses in English, French and Spanish

• Teaching (including preparation, documentation and follow-up activities)
• Participation in exam creation, administration, and evaluation (if applicable)
• Course design (if applicable)

Required:

• A completed university degree
• Relevant studies or further training in foreign language pedagogy
• Teaching experience, preferably also experience teaching in higher education settings
• Experience in digitally supported foreign language teaching

Preferred:

• An interest in educational theory and practice
• A willingness to participate in further training
