Invitation to German Week 2026 and the German Jordanian Future University Conference
“German Week 2026,” originally scheduled for May, has been rescheduled and will now take place from November 15 to 19, 2026, at the German Jordanian University (GJU) in Amman. The Office of International Affairs (IAD) at GJU is pleased to invite you once again to participate in this special week.
German Week at the GJU
The GJU’s partner university invites you to German Week. This year's theme is “Building Bridges: Shaping the Future”, participants can look forward to a diverse programme highlighting German-Jordanian cooperation and the German dimension of the GJU.
Students and staff from the GJU, representatives from German partner universities and organisations in Jordan, and invited guests will come together for academic exchanges, exhibitions, school activities and various dialogue formats.
A particular highlight of the week will be the German Jordanian Future University Conference. Experts will gather to discuss the future of higher education and German-Jordanian cooperation.
