Pflegeschätze (Care treasures)
Discovering and sharing inventions and ideas from everyday life with children who require care: Identifying, visualizing, and transferring family innovations from everyday life with children who require care. Short title: Care Treasures
Parents of children in need of care are often confronted with a care situation unprepared. Parents who have been caring for a long time, on the other hand, have built up a wealth of experience in coping with everyday life centered around care over the years. However, this knowledge is not formalized and has been inaccessible until now.
Caring families want to work with researchers and other affected parties to uncover the “treasures of knowledge” of self-organized care and make these valuable experiences accessible on an interactive platform. The aim is to enable young caring families to find relief and participate in everyday care as well as in vacation and leisure activities.
