Extraction of structural information from semantically heterogeneous building automation networks through pattern recognition using artificial intelligence

The overall aim of the project is to develop a method for automatically integrating buildings with existing BA networks into a TMon platform. The implementation effort should be reduced to a necessary minimum in order to minimize the inhibition threshold for integrating a TMon. The focus is on developing an algorithm that assigns unstructured and semantically heterogeneous operating data to the respective system components and operating states. The structural information generated in this way from the GA networks forms the basis for the creation of automated TMon applications. To ensure that the algorithm achieves the highest possible accuracy during generation, the data is processed in various intermediate steps. These form individual sub-goals of the project: - Mapping of the heterogeneous communication technologies and data points of the TGA to a common information model - Development of a questionnaire that serves to create an initial profile for the installed system technology. - Reduction of the potential assignment possibilities of a data point by evaluating metadata - Processing of the semantically heterogeneous information of the data points by semantic matching based on NLP methods - Behavioral analysis of data points and comparison with expected behavior in the Building Services Technology by applying these intermediate steps, the algorithm for the data points will provide a forecast of which system component or which operating state a data point can be assigned to. The TMon visualization is deployed on a cloud platform. Application-specific dashboards are automatically generated within the TMon platform, tailored to the installed system technology of each building. These dashboards assist users in achieving resource-efficient system operations. Ultimately, the developed methodology will be applied in practice across various types of buildings.
