A talk by Robert Gamblin about 20 years of history, experiences and perspectives in the making of Conservation Colors. A short reflection of the science behind the development of Gamblin Conservation Colors, will be followed by an introduction how the inpainting color is made, and a tour through materials, intended application and characteristics. A focus will be given to the working properties and application tips, including hue, transparency/opacity, and viscosity.
