Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop a deeper understanding for and confidence in the role of the leader of a project team and the functions and tasks associated with this role
  • Learn how to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and support among team members that enables them to cooperate successfully
  • Identify conflicts and attitudes of refusal or opposition to cooperation and handle them appropriately
  • Devise individual problem-solving strategies in order to deal with unexpected situations

Participants will learn to reflect on their role as tutors/team leaders individually and in groups.

They will discuss the pros and cons of different approaches to the management and monitoring of project work. In addition, they will develop strategies and appropriate responses for dealing with potentially difficult situations.

The workshop will also focus on developing the communicative competence and the presentation and management skills of the participants.
