Winter semester 2020/21: Applications to Bachelor's programs with restricted admission now possible

Prospective first-year students can now also apply for admission to Bachelor’s programs participating in DoSV in the winter semester 2020/21. Applications to Master’s programs and Bachelor’s programs with unrestricted admission is still possible, unless the application deadline has already passed.

Apply online to Bachelor’s and Master’s programs

All applications are to be submitted through our online application platform. If additional documents need to be submitted by mail, applicants will receive relevant information during the online applications process. All applicants will receive a confirmation email upon submission of their online application.

In the winter semester 2020/2021 TH Köln participates with all its admission-restricted Bachelor’s programsin the Dialogue-oriented Service Procedure (DoSV) coordinated by hochschulstart.de. Please consider the additional information on these programs. Applications to DoSV programs can now be submitted.

Applicants with international entrance qualifications (secondary school diploma, Studienkolleg or international (under)graduate degree)

Have you been offered admission?

Letters of Admission for Bachelor’s programs with unrestricted admission are sent by email (as a PDF attachment) usually within a few days of submission of the online application and are also available for download in the “My Documents” section of the online application platform. The Letter of Admission also provides relevant information on the enrollment process. In case of exceptions, applicants will receive information during the applications process in the online application platform.

For Bachelor's programs with restricted admission the regulations and deadlines of the Dialogue-oriented Service Procedure (DoSV) apply. 

Since the admission procedures for Master’s programs vary considerably, there is no fixed delivery period for Letters of Admission/Rejection for Master’s programs. Applicants to Master’s programs with restricted admission can expect to receive their Letters of Admission/Rejection approx. four weeks after the application deadline. All Letters of Admission/Rejection are delivered by email and are also available for download in the online application platform.

Use the information service to stay up to date

All applicants can check the status of their application and any documents submitted by mail (e.g. enrollment documents) at any time using the information service section of the online application platform.
