Requirements for participation
- You are an international student at TH Köln.
- You are prepared to actively engage in all class activities.
- Your German language skills are at level B2 (taken within the last two semesters) or by submission of a certificate (not older than two years).
- You have the necessary technical equipment to participate in the E-Learning units: PC/laptop with camera and microphone, stable internet connection, valid campusID.
This workshop is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

On the first day of the workshop (7 class hours) you will learn to analyze job advertisements and to consider how job profiles match your personal strengths, talents, competencies and interests. You will learn how to organize your CV and write cover letters/letters of motivation that will catch the attention of potential employers.
During the e-learning phase (6 class hours) you will write a CV and an application letter for a job of your choice. In addition, you will prepare for a job interview simulation in class.
On the final day (7 class hours) you will discuss the samples produced during the e-learning phase and give others feedback on their application documents. Finally, you will simulate job interviews and discuss selection processes.

• Based on authentic job application requirements in the German labour market
• Individual feedback via our learning management system ILIAS
