Information for International Students

Our brochure "Just Arrived" provides important information for international students on topics such as visa, accomodation, health insurance and many more.

Student ID card and public transport pass

Once enrolled, all new students receive their student ID card (called MultiCa) by mail. The MultiCa is also your public transport pass for the Rhine-Sieg Transport Network (VRS). To use public transport in all of North Rhine-Westphalia, you need to generate and print the NRW Semesterticket.
